Directions to the 2025 SFM Campsite

We will be camping at the Elks Group Campsite within the gorgeous Coconino National Forest, AZ.

Directions to the site:

Take Hwy 87 north through Payson, Strawberry, and Pine. About 20 miles north of Clints Wells between mile post 309-310 you’ll turn west onto FR9717H, about 1/4 mile on this road is the entrance to the site. We’ll have the Hollow Hammer sign along 87.

From the west side you can take the I-17 north to Lake Mary Road and go east until you reach the 87 at Clints Wells, turn north and proceed from there.
Another option from the west side, take the I-17 north and exit at Camp Verde and take the 260 east to the 87, turn north and follow directions from there.

From the I-40 you’ll take the 87 south in Winslow to the campground turn off, about 1/10 mile past mile marker 310.
